Terms and conditions

Last updated 1 November 2026. Applies to EazyPrint for Android (com.eazyprint) and this website.

The short version

  • EazyPrint prints your own files from your phone to a USB printer. Use it only for files you are allowed to print.
  • Your files stay on your phone. You are responsible for them and for keeping your own copies.
  • Printing depends on your printer. Only the HP LaserJet M1005 has been tested; check every printout and use it at your own risk.
  • The app is provided as it is, without warranty, and our liability is limited as far as the law allows.

1. Agreement and who can use EazyPrint

These terms are an agreement between you and EazyLife Tech Solutions ("we", "us"), an independent developer based in Uttar Pradesh, India, for the EazyPrint app and this website (together, "EazyPrint"). By installing, opening or using EazyPrint you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not accept them, do not use EazyPrint.

You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a binding contract under the law that applies to you. If you use EazyPrint for an organisation, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it, and "you" includes that organisation.

2. What EazyPrint is for

EazyPrint sends PDFs from your Android phone to a USB-connected printer, without a computer or an internet connection. Other apps can also send files to it through Android's Print menu. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for that purpose. We keep all rights in the app, its name and its logo. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse engineer or build a competing product from it, except where the law allows this despite this term.

3. Your files

  • They are yours. You keep all rights in your files. We do not receive, see, store or check them: they stay on your phone and go straight to your printer.
  • You are responsible for them. You confirm that you have the right to print each file, including any personal data of other people in it, and that printing it is lawful.
  • Keep your own copies. EazyPrint keeps a working copy of files you open, but it is not a backup service. If you delete a file in the app, uninstall the app, clear its data or lose your phone, those copies are gone and we cannot recover them.
  • Check the output. Pages can print wrongly (blank, shifted, garbled or in a different layout from the screen). Check every printout before you rely on it, especially for legal, medical, financial, academic or any time-sensitive paper.

4. Printers and hardware

Printing depends on your printer, its firmware, the USB cable or OTG adapter and your phone. Many phones and printers do not work together, and EazyPrint cannot change that.

  • Only the HP LaserJet M1005 (and M1005 MFP) has been tested end to end on real hardware. For other printers, support is marked "experimental": the printer's language is implemented in the app but has not been tested on that model. Printers without a driver are shown as not yet supported.
  • A list of supported and experimental printers is on the supported printers page. It is a guide, not a promise that a particular printer, firmware or phone will work.
  • Use it at your own risk. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for damage to your printer, paper, toner or ink, phone or cable, or for lost time, caused by or linked to using EazyPrint. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law does not allow to be limited.
  • Use only the printer, cable and paper the printer maker approves. If a printer behaves strangely, stop the job and switch the printer off.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use EazyPrint to:

  • print anything that is illegal, or that you do not have the right to print, including material that infringes someone's copyright or other rights;
  • forge, falsify or alter official documents, notes, tickets, certificates, identity papers or any other document to deceive someone;
  • print content that is abusive, threatening, defamatory or unlawfully discriminatory, or that harms or exploits children;
  • interfere with, damage or overload the app, our website or any printer, or try to get around any limit or protection in them;
  • use the app, its name or its logo in a way that suggests we endorse you or your product.

We do not see what you print and do not monitor it, but you are responsible for it. We may stop providing the app to someone who breaks these rules, and may disclose information if the law requires it.

Paid features may be offered in the future. If they are, we will describe what they include, what they cost and how billing works before you buy, and the app's store listing and these terms will be updated. Nothing is charged unless you clearly agree to it at the time.

7. No warranty

EazyPrint is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty of any kind: we do not promise that it will work with your printer or phone, be error-free, uninterrupted or secure, or that printouts will be accurate or fit for any purpose. EazyPrint is an independent product. It is not made, approved or supported by any printer maker.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of data, files, profit or business, or loss caused by a wrong or failed printout, however it arises. Our total liability to you for any claim linked to EazyPrint is limited to the amount you paid us for EazyPrint in the 12 months before the claim (which may be nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or intentional wrongdoing.

9. Your responsibility to us

If you use EazyPrint in breach of these terms, or in a way that harms someone else, you are responsible for the resulting claims, losses and costs, to the extent the law allows.

10. Third-party services and trademarks

EazyPrint uses Google Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports (see the privacy policy). Android, Google Play and Firebase are services of Google, and their own terms apply to them. HP, Canon, Samsung and Brother are trademarks of their owners. They are named only to say which printers EazyPrint works with, and they do not endorse EazyPrint.

11. Updates and changes

We may update the app, add or remove features, and add or change printer support. We may change these terms; we will update the date at the top and add a line to the version history, and tell you in the app if the change is important. If you keep using EazyPrint after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.

12. Ending use

You can stop using EazyPrint at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the app. Sections that by their nature should continue (including 3, 4, 7, 8, 9 and 13) continue after that.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Uttar Pradesh, India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where the law gives you the right to go to another court. Please email us first (section 15) so we can try to solve the problem.

14. General

If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right at once, we do not give it up. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about EazyPrint. You may not transfer your rights under them without our written consent.
